Usando massa de polir número 1 e algodão, dei polimento no verniz, o que é bem trabalhoso pois é preciso esfregar bastante até o brilho aparecer. Para finalizar, utilizei cera Grand Prix. O resultado vemos aqui.

I have polished the varnish using automotive polish cream wich is very hard becouse you have to rub it a lot until the shining appears. To finish the job, I've used regular car wax. The result we can see here.

Here I am sanding the guitar to final polishing. As we can see, all the shine is gone. Will it shine again?

Como a pistola que estava usando dispendia muita tinta, causando escorrimento, pedi aos amigo Jonas e Luciano da Retocar, que aplicassem o verniz utilizando uma pistola de alta pressão. O resultado vemos aqui após três demãos. Agora, só falta lixá-la e dar polimento. Para tal, usarei uma lixa 2000.

My painting pistol was dispending too much paint, making it to drain. So, I asked my friends Jonas and Luciano, from Retocar Auto Painting, to use their high pressure pistol. The result we see here after three layer of varnish. Now it's time to sand it again and polish, and to do that, I'll use a 2000 sandpaper.

Um pequeno contratempo! Esperei mais de uma semana e percebi que o verniz ainda não havia secado. Parece que o secante fez muita falta. A solução foi retirar tudo e começar de novo. Só que, dessa vez, usei um removedor de tinta em gel, o Stripitizi. O produto é bem forte e retirou toda a tinta e o selador, sem manchar a madeira. Agora é lixar tudo e começar de novo.

A small drawback. I've waited more than a week but the varnish didn't dry. It seems that the drying agent missing on the first layer made it happen. The solution was to remove all the paint and start everything again. But, this time, I used a paint remover gel. The product is very strong and striped all out, without staining the wood. Now it's time to sand it and start all over.

Infelizmente, quando comprei o verniz, não foi adicionado o elemento secador no mesmo. Por isso, está levando bastante tempo pra secar. Então, decidi deixar secar por uma semana. Só então vou lixar e aplicar a segunda demão.

Unfortunately, when I bought the varnish, the clerk person didn't add the drying agent on it, and it is taking a lot to dry. So, I've decided to let it dry for a week. Only after that I will sand again and apply the second layer of the varnish.
